This event is free and open to the public ABOUT BAROQUE ENSEMBLES AND RECORDER CONSORT The Baroque Ensembles perform chamber music from the Baroque period for instruments and solo voices. Members, consisting of Penn undergraduates, graduates, and community members, work in individual groups of three to six musicians for a full semester with focus on style, ornamentation, interpretation, and ensemble technique. The Recorder Consort specializes in Renaissance concert music and often collaborates with players of other instruments. Both groups, led by Gwyn Roberts, perform in Rose Recital Hall.
