Program: Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, Op. 58; Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67 Performers: Los Angeles Philharmonic; Gustavo Dudamel (conductor); Rudolf Buchbinder (piano) Premiered together on cold December night in 1808, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and Fourth Piano Concerto would redefine both forms, infusing them with the passion of a new Romantic age.
