Pictures of the Imagination Colorful, exuberant, and sometimes scary musical pictures by Franz Liszt, Anatol Liadov, and George Whitefield Chadwick spur the imagination – and the creative choreography of the Hyde Park School of Dance – in a captivating concert featuring costumes, storytelling, and special effects. At the centerpiece of this year’s USO Halloween spectacular is Mussorgsky’s masterful Pictures at an Exhibition, composed as a tribute to the artist Viktor Hartmann, the composer’s close friend. Bring your family and friends to Mandel Hall for this favorite USO tradition! Audience costumes are encouraged. Free admission. Donations requested at the door: $10 general, $5 students and children.
