The night kicks off with an exciting first look at Headless , a new musical from Giacchino and collaborators Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. Inspired by Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow , Headless lures audiences into the bewitched town that has captivated audiences for over two hundred years, but this tale has a twist. Following intermission, the orchestra performs the score of Giacchino’s Werewolf by Night live to picture under the baton of Sarah Hicks. Called a “full-on endorphin rush for horror nerds,” Werewolf by Night follows a secret cabal of monster hunters thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic that will bring them face-to-face with more than one monster. Inspired by the gothic-style horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, the chilling special brings Marvel’s horror comics history to life with style and suspense.
