BRAHMS – Four Klavierstücke, Op. 119 SCHUMANN – Kreisleriana, Op. 16 CHOPIN – Ballade No. 2 in F Major, Op. 38 CHOPIN – Four Mazurkas, Op. 17 CHOPIN – Sonata No. 3 in B Minor, Op. 58 Born in Georgia in 2001, pianist David Khrikuli’s performances have drawn exceptional attention for their uncompromising individuality, expressive intensity, and rich dynamic range. A laureate of numerous international contests, Khrikuli was a finalist at the 2025 Chopin International Piano Competition, where his performances captivated both jury and audience, earning acclaim that extended beyond the competition results. He began his piano studies at the Paliashvili Central Music School for Gifted Children in Tbilisi and later trained with Galina Eguiazarova and Stanislav Ioudenitch at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid. In 2022 he received the Diploma for the Most Outstanding Student of his chair from Her Majesty Queen Sofía. Khrikuli has appeared as a soloist with the Georgian Philharmonic, the Israel Camerata and Philharmonic, and the Moscow Philharmonic, and has given solo and chamber performances throughout Europe. Currently, Khrikuli is touring Poland and will also make his debut in Berlin.
