Following an enchanting PCMS debut in 2023, the vocal ensemble ModernMedieval Voices, founded and directed by Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek, formerly of the world-renowned vocal quartet Anonymous 4, returns to PCMS. They present La Santisima Virgen Maria, a seasonal program celebrating the Virgin Mary through chants and polyphony from 12th and 13th century Spanish manuscripts. The concert also includes the world premiere of four short pieces inspired by the Marian antiphons composed by Laura Jobin-Acosta.
